Internal Communications & Engagement Business Partner

At Primark, we're looking for a talented Internal Communications & Engagement Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our Internal Communications team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the experience of our customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver impactful internal communication and engagement strategies for the UK market, ensuring our colleagues are our biggest fans and brand advocates.
  • Partner with senior leadership and stakeholders to develop and deliver a consistent narrative aligned with Primark's overall business strategy, purpose, values, and behaviours.
  • Ensure key global campaigns and initiatives are communicated and embedded across the UK market, including brand, products, diversity and inclusion, CSR, sustainability, and wellbeing.
  • Create compelling and engaging content for internal communications channels, including our colleague app Zing, email, video, and townhalls, telling our Primark story in a way that builds a genuine sense of community, connection, pride, and belonging.
  • Support stakeholders with communications and engagement initiatives around our colleague survey, including results and action planning.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders and teams to deliver change and crisis communications within the UK market.
  • Partner with our Internal Comms & Engagement Channel team to measure and report the performance and impact of communications campaigns and initiatives, using these insights to make data-led decisions and recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience of developing and delivering large-scale, multi-channel internal communication and engagement strategies.
  • Exceptional communicator with an ability to translate complex business materials into compelling content for a range of internal communications channels.
  • Passionate and creative storyteller, skilled at developing engaging and memorable content.
  • Talent for devising innovative ways to engage and motivate colleagues.
  • Creative, innovative, agile, and solution-focused with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to prioritise while managing multiple projects.
  • Brilliant team player, who can build and maintain excellent relationships across all levels of the business.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, self-starter with strong initiative.
  • Knowledge of internal communications trends and best practice.
