About the Role

Job Overview

As a dedicated Store Team Member, you will be the face of Home Bargains, delivering exceptional customer service with enthusiasm. Your role will involve assisting customers with product queries, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere throughout the store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Assist with stock replenishment, maintaining a well-stocked and organized store environment.
  • Operate cash handling systems, including tills and EPOS.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.


Benefits

As a Store Team Member, you will receive a competitive rate of pay, ranging from £9.00 per hour for below 18-year-olds to £11.88 for those 21 and over. You will also receive up to 32 hours of work per week, 5.6 weeks of paid holiday per year, and access to a contributory company pension scheme. Additionally, you will receive a staff uniform, 10% store discount, and access to the MyHB employee benefits platform, which includes retail and leisure discounts, free financial advice, and confidential counselling and advice services.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate a good understanding of customer service, experience of cash handling and working in a retail environment, and experience of manual handling and stock replenishment. You must also be hardworking, reliable, polite, and professional.
