About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PQ Engineer to join our team at Envisage Recruitment Limited. As a PQ Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and perceived quality of our interior trim products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Lead Engineer in the development and implementation of PQ techniques and processes.
  • Review and validate system integration for interior themes, ensuring seamless integration with other design elements.
  • Develop and maintain the Gap & Rad Plan, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Support the PQ Lead in mentorship and knowledge transfer to engineering teams, promoting a culture of quality and excellence.
  • Collaborate with the PQ Team overseas to ensure alignment with global standards and processes.
  • Assist with benchmarking competitor vehicles and reporting findings to inform product development.
  • Support Optical Quality and Perceived Quality development and assessment activities.
Requirements
  • Strong CAD operation skills, with the ability to create and manipulate geometry for primary communication of Gap & Rad Planning PQ Requirements.
  • Proficiency in Catia V5, with experience in 2D data and sectional data.
  • Desirable skills in TCUA (Team Centre) PLM utilisation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
