We are in search of a seasoned and creative PQ Integration Specialist who can offer feasibility insights to Engineering and Design during the conceptual and initial Engineering stages of new vehicle projects.
The role of PQ Integration Specialist will involve supporting the Lead Engineers in the development of interior trim, especially during the preliminary design phases. This will require effective communication with cross-functional teams both domestically and internationally, while aligning with strategic goals and objectives to pinpoint areas for enhancement across all business aspects.
As a PQ Integration Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the part/assembly maturation process upon request. Providing root cause analysis support for production/design-related issues.
- Reviewing and validating system integration for both Exterior and Interior themes.
- Developing PQ methodologies and processes.
- Facilitating mentorship and knowledge transfer regarding PQ methods and processes.
The main duties and skills required for the PQ Integration Specialist position will encompass:
- Creating and manipulating geometry using Catia for primary communication of Gap/Rad Planning PQ Requirements. (It is expected that at least 50% of your time will be dedicated to geometry generation.)
- Working with 2D data and sectional data. (Key modules include: Part design & Geometric Surface design) Familiarity with TCUA (Team Centre) PLM is advantageous.
- Generating and developing PQ activities for Exterior and Interior Trim.
- Supporting the Lead PQ/Integration Engineer on comprehensive vehicle activities.
- Creating and maintaining the Gap & Rad Plan.
- Developing Product Attribute Targets (PAT) based on the Product Attribute PALS positioning for PQ.
- Assisting with benchmarking competitor vehicles and reporting findings.
- Supporting Optical Quality and Perceived Quality development and assessment activities.
