Financial Operations Coordinator

We are partnering with a reputable company in Stoke on Trent to find a skilled Finance Assistant to join their small finance team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Process payroll through Xero, ensuring accuracy and completeness of timesheets
- Prepare and post payroll journal entries
- Support credit control by chasing outstanding debts and sending monthly statements
- Post receipts and reconcile statements from suppliers
- Prepare weekly reports for management and oversee purchase invoice processing
- Assist with other ad-hoc duties as required
- Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant role within a finance department
- Proficiency in using Xero is preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE
