Job Overview:

CSC Computer Sciences Ltd is expanding its SAP operations and is seeking a skilled SAP FICO Business Consultant to join our dynamic team.

As a SAP Functional Consultant, you will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams within a project framework to gather and assess business needs for the support and configuration of specific SAP modules. Your role will involve understanding the functional aspects of the business and contributing to the configuration, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of SAP modules to meet business objectives. You will also engage in problem identification and assist in crafting effective solutions. Experience with S4 and related SAP S4 migration initiatives in your functional area is highly desirable.

Given the nature of our client engagements, security clearance is necessary for this position. Therefore, candidates must be British Nationals who have resided and worked continuously in the UK for the past five years. Unfortunately, we cannot consider dual nationals or candidates with OCI cards at this time.

We are looking for professionals with extensive experience in managing client relationships, as well as those who have participated in the complete project lifecycle from proposal development, solution design, planning, mobilization, leadership, and execution of SAP module implementations. Candidates should be comfortable working in both project team settings and client-driven environments. As a virtual-first organization, you will primarily work from home with minimal travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect and evaluate user business requirements and processes. Understand client needs and the functionalities of the ECC and S/4 product modules. Document business requirements and validate solutions with clients. Collaborate with business users to configure the module, translating business needs into functional design specifications. Establish initial settings, module-specific security configurations, and reporting options. Comprehend processes, reporting requirements, and user interfaces affected by the ECC/S/4 system. Identify necessary modifications and recommend and implement changes as needed. Provide ongoing SAP functional system support. Engage with technical teams and clients to resolve functional issues, ensuring client needs are met. Typical deliverables for this role, though not exhaustive, include Requirements Traceability Matrix, Business Process Blueprint, Configuration Documentation, Functionality Specification, Test Scripts, and Training Guides. While this position is primarily home-based, there may be occasional travel for client meetings.

Required Qualifications:

Experience with ERP business solutions, business analysis, or management analysis. S/4 experience is particularly advantageous. Proven experience assisting users with business process modifications and improvement initiatives.

Capability to convey a strong presence and professional image while confidently addressing business challenges. Ability to articulate technical and business concepts clearly for diverse audiences. Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Skill in managing competing priorities within a complex environment.
