Job Title: Atomic Source Physicist

Quantinuum is the world's largest integrated quantum company, pioneering powerful quantum computers and advanced software solutions. We are seeking an experienced Atomic Source Physicist to join our team in Broomfield, CO.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with experimentalists and engineers to design, build, and validate atomic sources for trapped ion quantum computers.
  • Communicate groundbreaking research results through publications and presentations.
  • Develop and implement best scientific practices across the experimental team.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Physics or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in atomic physics, including experience with magneto-optical traps and cold atom techniques.
  • Experience working with trapped ions and quantum computing hardware.
  • Formal background in experimental physics with a proven track record of solving complex problems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a strong publication record.
