Quantinuum is a pioneering company in the field of quantum computing, and we're seeking an exceptional Atomic Source Physicist to join our team in Broomfield, CO.

About the Role:

We're looking for a highly skilled physicist with expertise in atomic sources and trapped ion quantum computers. As an Atomic Source Physicist, you'll work closely with our experimentalists and engineers to design, build, and validate atomic sources for our quantum computers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cutting-edge atomic source technologies
  • Communicate groundbreaking research results through publications and presentations
  • Develop and oversee best scientific practices across the experimental team
Requirements:
  • PhD in Physics or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in atomic physics, including experience with trapped ions and quantum computing hardware
  • U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder)
