Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Strategic Initiatives team at the Ministry of Justice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of complex programmes and projects across the Ministry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of project plans using project planning software such as Microsoft Project.
- Develop and maintain an overarching programme/project plan, applying appropriate project principles to deliver stated objectives.
- Set and track project controls, reporting delivery against milestones.
- Work closely with Programme Directors and Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Assist in improvement activities within the programme management team.
Requirements
- Proficiency in using project planning software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
- Demonstrable experience in project planning, maintenance, and monitoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
