About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team at Bearded Kitten. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating medium to large scale projects from concept to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all elements of a production, including budgeting, scheduling, and logistics.
  • Provide production specifications and costings for competitive pitches and new business leads.
  • Client-facing role, articulating production methodologies and justifying cost line items.
  • Oversee third-party deliverables and ensure they meet agreed specifications.
  • Work with our in-house fabrication department to ensure smooth delivery of custom assets.
  • Review and identify new suppliers and partners.
  • Coordinate internal and external staffing requirements for assigned projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to relevant health and safety standards.
  • Onsite production management during install, live, and derig of all assigned projects.
  • Oversee financial control of production budgets.
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of junior production team members.
Requirements
  • International experience in events and installations.
  • Significant experience managing teams and providing direction.
  • Management experience of medium to large scale events in high-profile locations.
  • Proven supplier network with long-term relationships.
  • Excellent estimating and budgeting skills.
  • Broad understanding of technical production delivery.
  • Strong working knowledge of scenic construction methods and associated materials.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD/Vectorworks/Sketchup.
  • Able and willing to travel domestically and internationally.
  • A full, clean driving license.
