Job Summary:
The Oyster Partnership is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to fill the role of Head of Commercial Management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our commercial operations and ensuring the effective management of our fire and building safety services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement of new contractors for specialist services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Control and management of key building safety data, including fire risk assessments, planned preventative maintenance, and delivery of fire risk actions.
- Leading teams across all elements of operational fire safety, including fire risk assessments, fire planned preventative maintenance, delivery of fire risk actions, and emerging operational building safety requirements.
- Directly managing a team of compliance managers and building safety managers, providing guidance and support to ensure the effective delivery of our services.
- Development of external wall remediation projects, working closely with stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Fire and building safety resident engagement, ensuring that our services are delivered in a way that meets the needs of our residents.
- Management of building safety data and the building safety information team, ensuring that our data is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Preferably a Level 6 CIOB in Fire or Building Safety, or equivalent experience and qualifications.
- Extensive experience in providing senior leadership, with a proven track record of delivering results in a commercial environment.
- Very strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Practical experience in fire and building safety, including knowledge of passive and active fire, M&E, and specialist safety installations and systems.
