Fire Safety Specialist

The Health and Safety Partnership Limited is seeking a skilled Fire Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Fire Engineer, you will work on various fire safety challenges and issues across a range of buildings and sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop fire strategy reports and collaborate with stakeholders throughout the design process.
- Assist clients in meeting requirements under relevant legislation, including the Building Safety Act 2022 and the Fire Safety Order.
- Conduct fire risk analysis and provide guidance on appropriate control measures.
- Support internal design teams on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Address various fire safety challenges and issues across diverse buildings and sectors.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to coordinate inspection programs and remedial works.
- Gather on-site particulars, document required schedules of works, prepare specifications, obtain estimates, plan work schedules, and monitor on-site progress while ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Offer advice on Building Regulations Approval for fire-related matters.
- A degree in fire safety or fire risk engineering is essential.
- Membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers and professional registration with the Engineering Council are required.
- Full knowledge of current fire safety legislation, including the Building Regulations and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order, and technical standards is necessary.
