Nolan Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Waste Assessor to join their dynamic team. As a Waste Assessor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the waste acceptance process from initial enquiry to disposal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support the Compliance Officer and Weighbridge Operator.
  • Oversee the waste acceptance process, ensuring compliance with Environmental Permitting Regulations and site-specific waste acceptance procedures.
  • Analyse site investigation reports and lab results to classify waste and determine its suitability for the site.
  • Conduct site visits to prospective project locations with suppliers.
  • Ensure completion of quotes, Basic Characterisation Forms, and all required statutory paperwork for waste acceptance.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to verify material compliance and address any quality issues with the client.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of the waste industry, with the ability to analyse and interpret lab data.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships and secure new projects.
  • Experience in providing regular reports to regulatory bodies.
  • Proficient in IT, especially skilled in using MS Office, with a focus on Excel.
