About the Role

Cyan Partners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Head of Corporate Risk and Governance. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team and support the General Counsel in this critical function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deputise for the General Counsel on occasions and provide strategic risk management support to the firm's growth plans.
  • Work closely with the General Counsel, senior business stakeholders, and other Heads of departments to ensure effective governance and compliance.
  • Provide advice on governance, including drafting and advising on the LLP Members' Agreement and other documentation.
  • Liaise with procurement on vendor contracts and other commercial agreements.
  • Work with external counsel to ensure compliance with professional standards and general corporate and commercial work from a regulatory perspective.

Requirements:

  • At least ten years' relevant PQE in general corporate/commercial work with significant regulatory experience, including some exposure and understanding of the SRA regulatory regime.
  • Strong credibility and initiative, with the ability to work autonomously and lead a small team.
  • Excellent people and communication skills, with the ability to work with people at all levels within the firm.
