Job Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Director to join our team at Dechra. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our Quality teams and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the Quality teams, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to achieve their goals.
  • Develop and implement a sustainable quality strategy for the site, including the design and implementation of quality systems and processes.
  • Ensure that all quality-related activities are conducted in accordance with UK, EU, and FDA regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate quality risks, and to implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Host regulatory audits and inspections, and ensure that all necessary documentation and records are maintained.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, customers, and suppliers to ensure that quality standards are met.
  • Provide training and coaching to Quality team members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure that quality standards are being met, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in quality assurance and regulatory compliance, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, UK, EU, and FDA regulations and guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
