About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Site Quality Director to join our team at Dechra. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across our site.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to the quality team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to achieve their goals.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy that aligns with our company's values and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of quality processes and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including UK, EU, and FDA guidelines.
  • Identify and mitigate quality risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Host regulatory audits and inspections, and ensure that all necessary documentation is up-to-date and compliant.
  • Develop and maintain quality systems, including procedures, policies, and training programs.
  • Monitor and report on quality performance metrics, and implement improvements as needed.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our quality processes.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance, with a strong background in GMP, UK, EU, and FDA regulations.
  • Proven track record of leading quality teams and implementing quality strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate quality risks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Eligibility for QP status is highly desirable.
