Role Overview

As a Housekeeping and Laundry Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the implementation of engaging activities for residents, ensuring their involvement and satisfaction.
  • Managing daily housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
  • Ensuring all living spaces and common areas meet the highest cleanliness standards as per established protocols.
  • Restocking supplies and maintaining the organization of cleaning equipment at the end of each shift.
  • Delivering fresh linens and towels to designated areas while keeping laundry spaces orderly.
  • Overseeing the laundry room operations, ensuring uniforms and linens are cleaned to the highest standards.
  • Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols regarding the use of cleaning agents and equipment.
  • Addressing laundry-related inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Striving for resident satisfaction and reporting any concerns to the management team.
  • Creating a welcoming and well-maintained environment for residents and their families.
  • Practicing safe and effective use of cleaning equipment and reporting any malfunctions.
  • Following proper procedures for handling and cleaning all surfaces.
  • Documenting any maintenance issues and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Completing daily checklists to ensure all tasks are fulfilled.
  • Sorting and managing soiled linens appropriately.
  • Operating laundry machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Ensuring all items are laundered according to care instructions.
  • Labeling personal items accurately before returning them to residents.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the laundry area and replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Participating in the training and onboarding of new staff members.
  • Upholding health and safety standards for yourself and others.
  • Reporting any hazards or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Engaging in required training sessions to enhance your skills.
  • Maintaining professionalism and respect for residents at all times.
  • Adhering to the company’s dress code and policies.
