We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant to join our team at New Care. As a Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for our residents.

About the Role:

  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules to ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility.
  • Follow guidance from the Head of Housekeeping to ensure compliance with our housekeeping standards.
  • Contribute to achieving the Home's housekeeping standards by undertaking general cleaning tasks and laundry duties.
  • Promote the welfare of our residents by providing a clean and comfortable living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the relevant authorities.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the team to achieve our housekeeping goals.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Prior cleaning experience, ideally in a care setting.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability and trustworthiness.
