We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Housekeeping and Laundry Assistant to join our team at New Care. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our care home.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in non-domestic cleaning and working in a care setting, with the ability to operate cleaning equipment and follow instructions. Strong communication skills and a reliable personality are essential for this role.

The successful candidate will contribute to the achievement of our home's standards for housekeeping, undertake general cleaning tasks, and carry out laundry duties when required. You will also be responsible for ensuring the working environment is free from hazards and promoting the welfare of adults in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules and sign necessary paperwork.
  • Follow guidance from the Head Housekeeper and contribute to achieving our home's standards for housekeeping.
  • Undertake general cleaning tasks and carry out any other cleaning duties as delegated.
  • Carry out laundry duties when required and ensure the working environment is free from hazards.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of adults in our care.
