This exciting opportunity is for a Healthcare Scientist to join ARHAI Scotland, within NHS National Services Scotland.

ARHAI Scotland leads efforts to prevent healthcare-associated infection (HAI) through guidance development, surveillance, operational support, and training.

The post holder will support consultants, programme leads, and senior scientific staff in providing information, advice, and support to stakeholders.

They will assist in developing a specialised epidemiological knowledge base to underpin health protection programmes of work.

This will involve analysing, interpreting, and presenting epidemiological and surveillance data, as well as participating in relevant research activities.

You will be educated to degree level in a scientific or clinical subject and have a proven track record as a team player.

Excellent planning and organisational skills, well-developed analytical skills, and familiarity with statistical analysis tools are essential.
