About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic unqualified EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team in Loughborough. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality childcare and education to our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging EYFS lessons
  • Assist with the daily care and supervision of children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting children's learning
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in an EYFS setting or as a Teaching Assistant
  • Good understanding of the EYFS Curriculum and its application in practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • DBS clearance and a commitment to safeguarding and child protection
