We are seeking a dedicated and motivated senior support worker with a drive for excellence to transition into a Deputy Manager role. Join our team in a dynamic and supportive environment and play a crucial role in supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties.

About the Position:

  • Job Title: Deputy Manager
  • Salary: £34,000 per annum
  • Location: Newtown, Powys
  • Contract: Full-time / Permanent
  • Shifts: Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting day-to-day operations of the home
  • Supervising junior staff
  • Maintaining placement and risk management plans
  • Assisting young people in daily activities
  • Promoting independence and social behavior

Requirements:

  • NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children & Young People's Residential Services or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in children's residential services
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Willingness to work towards Level 5 qualification
