Job Overview

Eden Scott Ltd is seeking an Investment Oversight Analyst to become an integral part of the Investment Stewardship and Research Team. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in facilitating our proxy voting initiatives, investment stewardship efforts, and sustainability projects. This role provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with multiple departments, including Investment Research, Client Communications, and Client Services, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional service delivery to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proxy Voting Management: Support the organization and execution of proxy voting processes, ensuring compliance with our firm's established standards.
  • Investment Stewardship Assistance: Engage in comprehensive investment stewardship activities, including proactive communication with companies.
  • Sustainability Data Analysis: Evaluate company and portfolio information to assist clients in achieving their sustainability goals, thereby enhancing our service capabilities in this vital area.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with the Investment Research team and Client Communications/Service teams to manage stewardship documentation and address ad hoc inquiries.
  • Management Information Compilation: Generate critical information for Committees and Groups, ensuring that management receives accurate and timely data.
  • Client Reporting Development: Create and prepare sustainability-related materials for client reports and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Research Operations Support: Acquire a thorough understanding of all facets of Research Operations to provide effective assistance as required.
  • Provide coverage for team members during absences and support other departmental functions as needed.
  • Perform any additional duties as reasonably requested by management.

Educational/Professional Background:

A university degree or equivalent experience relevant to the responsibilities outlined above.
