Responsibilities Include:
- Implementing the Trust's Infection Prevention program.
- Promoting adherence to policies aimed at minimizing infection risks.
- Offering support and guidance to staff to mitigate healthcare-associated infections.
- Contributing to the Trust-wide education program on infection prevention.
- Assisting in the audit and surveillance of infection control practices.
- Collaborating with clinical teams to develop compliance action plans.

- Participating in investigations and developing action plans as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Registered Nurse with evidence of ongoing professional development.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of post-registration experience in nursing.
- Experience in clinical audit and infection prevention practices.
Desirable:
- A degree or equivalent qualification.
- Teaching qualifications and experience in infection prevention.
- Familiarity with managing patients with transmissible infections.
