Job Title: Systems Engineer – HV Systems

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer – HV Systems to join our Vehicle Electrification Team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the requirements and delivery of the Forseven High Voltage System from both a hardware and software perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a successful vehicle program, including attribute, software, component supplier, and chassis teams.
  • Support architecture development and definition on future projects.
  • Develop and take ownership of the relevant High Voltage Powertrain System FMEA, supporting project engineers in the delivery of component DFMEA.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in the delivery of high voltage electric powertrain systems within an automotive engineering environment.
  • Experience of vehicle testing and analysis using measurement and calibration tools such as Vector CANalyzer and ETAS INCA.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the V-Cycle and its application in an automotive environment.
  • Possession of an Electronics, Control Systems, Automotive, or similar honours engineering degree. Other recognised engineering qualifications combined with relevant significant experience will be considered.
  • High Voltage training to Senior Authorised Person or IMI Level 4.
  • Full driving licence is essential.
  • No visa or other restrictions for working in the UK or travelling in the European Union.
