Join Our Team as a Head Children's House Educator

At Guidepost Montessori, we are seeking a passionate Head Children's House Educator to inspire and nurture the growth of young learners aged 3 to 6 years.

(Salary Range: 37K - 43K)

Your Responsibilities

As a dedicated Head Educator, you will play a vital role in guiding a diverse group of preschool-aged children within a Montessori framework. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Observing and understanding each child's unique physical, intellectual, and emotional needs.
  • Creating a serene and organized environment that promotes focus, independence, and profound learning experiences.
  • Encouraging self-sufficiency and confidence by empowering children to take initiative in their learning.
  • Delivering individualized and small-group lessons that enhance children's skills in practical tasks, literacy, mathematics, and more.
  • Building meaningful relationships with each child and fostering a respectful community.
  • Engaging in constructive communication with parents to ensure optimal support for every child.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Interest in pursuing certified Montessori training or possession of a Montessori diploma for ages 3-6.
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children in group settings.
  • Familiarity with child-centered educational philosophies and a willingness to learn more.
  • Relevant Early Childhood Education or Child Development credits.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in any field.
