We are excited to announce an opening for a Lead Preschool Educator at our esteemed Guidepost Montessori School. This role offers a unique chance to inspire children aged 3 to 6 years, helping them cultivate independence, confidence, and a lifelong passion for learning.

Salary Range: (37K - 43K)

Your Responsibilities

As a Lead Educator, you will play a pivotal role in guiding a diverse group of preschool children within a Montessori framework. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Observing and understanding each child's individual needs—physical, intellectual, and emotional.
  • Creating a beautiful and organized learning environment that promotes focus, independence, and profound learning experiences.
  • Encouraging self-sufficiency by empowering children to take initiative in their learning.
  • Delivering personalized lessons in small groups and one-on-one to enhance children's skills in practical tasks, literacy, mathematics, and more.
  • Building meaningful relationships with each child and fostering a respectful community.
  • Engaging in constructive communication with parents to ensure the best support for every child.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Interest in pursuing Montessori certification through our Prepared Montessorian Institute or possession of a Montessori diploma for ages 3-6.
  • Experience working with children aged 3-6 in group settings such as daycare or preschool.
  • Familiarity with child-centered educational philosophies like Montessori or Reggio Emilia.
  • Completion of Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development credits.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in any field.
