Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a Water Systems Analyst to enhance our team in a full-time, permanent capacity. In return, we offer a competitive salary ranging from £34,000 to £40,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and communicate optimal strategies for water supply management through data analysis and forecasting.
  • Support the management of water systems to ensure efficient distribution while balancing cost, energy, carbon footprint, water quality, and chemical usage.
  • Assist in operational management during serious incidents, implementing contingency measures to minimize supply disruptions.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure adherence to water supply strategies and develop regular reports on water usage and emerging issues.
  • Contribute to the development of proactive operational strategies, focusing on water resources, supply-demand forecasting, and production planning.
  • Conduct performance evaluations to assess current operations and identify future risks.
  • Support the creation of resilience strategies and network resilience studies.
  • Assist in implementing water resource management plans and ensure effective operation of the water distribution network.
  • Maintain accurate records of changes to water system assets in accordance with company procedures.
  • Engage in continuous training and self-development to leverage evolving technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Mathematics, English, and a Science subject.
  • Demonstrated experience in effective teamwork and communication across various levels.
  • Proficient in data analysis and corporate systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Understanding of water supply networks and treatment operations.
  • Ability to make sound judgments in complex and high-pressure situations.
  • Capacity to interpret technical information from diverse sources.
