Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Hydraulic Engineer to lead our Specialist Hydraulics team and contribute to our exciting portfolio of multimillion-pound UK Water Industry projects. As a Hydraulic Engineer Lead, you'll be responsible for conducting hydraulic analysis and designing water/wastewater treatment plants and pipelines for a diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead a team of professionals in conducting hydraulic analysis and designing water/wastewater treatment plants and pipelines
* Collaborate with various design discipline engineers on projects and drive critical decisions
* Prepare design reports detailing calculations/analysis performed and key findings
* Estimate and budget man-hours for design tasks
* Validate all deliverables, including calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications

Requirements

* Proven experience in hydraulic design within the UK Water Industry
* Comprehensive knowledge of hydraulic design principles and experience collaborating with other disciplines
* Hydraulic design for water and wastewater treatment works using HADES and bespoke analysis
* Transient analysis and design of surge suppression systems
