About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading care home provider and lead a team of dedicated professionals. As a Nursing Home Manager, you will have full responsibility for the home, including hiring new staff, overseeing training, and promoting the home within the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a clinical team of nurses and ensure the delivery of excellent care to service users
- Hire new staff and oversee training to ensure the home is well-staffed and equipped to meet the needs of service users
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the home within the local community
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and liaise effectively with CQC Inspectors
Requirements
- Nurse qualified, ideally with RGN or RMN nursing qualification
- Experience in nursing home management
- Strong knowledge of elderly care and CQC legislation
- Excellent business skills, including successfully filling beds and developing the home's profile within the local community
