We are seeking a Trainee Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our team on a 24-month fixed-term contract. This role offers a great chance for someone looking to start their career in Risk and Compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assessing the risk profile of existing clients and identifying potential changes
  2. Liaising with Partners on client due diligence issues and ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing regulations
  3. Conducting company searches and press searches to maintain accurate client information
  4. Supporting the Deputy Money Laundering Officer on general anti-money laundering issues and client due diligence matters
  5. Assisting the AML team with research projects and day-to-day compliance with AML regulatory matters
Requirements:
  1. Educated to degree level and/or qualified in KYC/Compliance with experience in a professional services environment
  2. Knowledge and understanding of the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 and the EU's 5th Money Laundering Directive
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
  4. Ability to analyse, research, and make informed decisions
  5. A solution-driven approach with excellent problem-solving skills
  6. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  7. Good time management skills to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  8. Excellent verbal, written, and face-to-face communication skills
  9. Desire to work in a team but also self-motivated
  10. Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise
  11. Enthusiastic, positive, and committed team member
