Position: Business Continuity and Resilience Manager

Location: Flexible working arrangements available – please discuss with your recruiter for specifics Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications Role Overview: Oversee the development and upkeep of Business Continuity strategies and documentation within the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) on behalf of the BCMSponsor. Collaborate with local Business Continuity Management representatives to ensure effective communication and implementation of BCM policies. Design and facilitate BCM training sessions, exercises, and evaluations. Disseminate BCM information throughout the organization by engaging with local coordinators on policies and procedures. Coordinate business or functional assessments, including post-incident reviews. Support BCM audit processes and confirm compliance. Prepare comprehensive reports on exercise outcomes and manage follow-up actions for improvement. Organize all BCM activities for business evaluations.

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential:

Demonstrated expertise in Business Continuity Management, Risk Management, and Incident Management. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Understanding of the complexities of working in a diverse, multinational environment.

Desirable:

Background in emergency response. Experience in project management, training, or assurance roles, with the ability to work collaboratively with virtual teams and maintain relationships with stakeholders. Experience in developing and implementing operational processes and governance frameworks. Familiarity with conducting process confirmations and audits. Qualifications in Risk Management, Insurance, or Business Continuity Management. A background in security is advantageous. Benefits:

About the BCM Central Team:

We are seeking a Business Continuity and Resilience Manager to join our BCM Central Team. In this role, you will report to the Air BCM Manager and be responsible for all aspects of BCM and Resilience across the Air sector. Your primary focus will be to ensure that BAE Systems maintains a robust resilience framework to effectively manage and mitigate the impact of unforeseen events that could disrupt major programs. This position offers unique exposure to various areas of the Air business, providing valuable experience and opportunities for career advancement.
