About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN (PLMD) Teacher to join our team at GSL Education. As an SEN (PLMD) Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education to students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PLMD).

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Develop and implement individualized learning strategies to support students with complex needs
  • Work closely with other staff members and external professionals to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Develop resources and materials to support student learning
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive classroom culture

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with PLMD
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
