As a specialist in neurosurgery, you will be working on the acute neurosurgical ward, providing expert care to patients with traumatic and acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, major trauma, and tracheostomies.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide physiotherapy services to patients with neurosurgical conditions, including respiratory care and suction assistance.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
- HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Experience working with neurosurgical patients, particularly those with respiratory needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
