Civil and Structural Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil and Structural Project Engineer to join our team at Mace. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and ensuring the safe delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Interface: Provide professional engineering and technical interface with external parties, managing engineering and safety specifications to ensure cost, time, and quality objectives are met.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Lead compliance with Network Rail engineering-driven safety requirements, providing technical advice and approvals consistent with Network Rail policies and standards.
- Project Management: Manage the mitigation of engineering and safety risks associated with proposed and real-time outside and third-party activities.
- Requirements Engineering: Apply the concept of requirements engineering on applicable schemes, liaising with internal stakeholders and providing advice to the project interface lead.
- Compliance and Review: Assess and review all outside and third-party schemes for compliance with current legislation, including CDM regulations.
- Design and Construction: Monitor internal and external design/specialist consultants and contractors for outside and third-party schemes, ensuring competence in design, construction, and specialist workforce.
- Project Experience: Previous experience in the management of outside and third-party activities and mitigation of risk, with successful relevant experience in engineering disciplines.
- Technical Knowledge: Significant knowledge of technical, safety, and performance standards and their application to asset protection activities, including quality assurance and risk assessment.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in Telecommunications (Commercial), Telecommunications (Operational), Mechanical & Electrical, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Tunnelling methodology, Permanent Way, Signalling, Electrification & Power.
