Job Title: Senior Water Resources Planner

South West Water is seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Resources Planner to join our team. As a key member of our water resources management team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to ensure the efficient and sustainable management of our water resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement water resources management strategies to meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
  • Conduct analysis and modeling to inform water resources planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to support the development of water resources plans and policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the effective management of our water resources.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in water resources planning and management, with a strong understanding of hydrology and water resources principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Relevant degree in a field such as hydrology, water resources engineering, or a related field.
