About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled People and Culture Specialist to join our team at Oia. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and embedding our people strategy, fostering a positive workplace culture, and promoting employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leaders, managers, and colleagues across the organization to promote employee engagement and contribute to a high-performing and inclusive work environment.
  • Provide HR expertise to our people and guide managers and colleagues in people matters in accordance with best practice, internal guidance, and procedures, and legal compliance.
  • Embed and manage the wider learning and development program across the organization and wellbeing.
  • Champion Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) and drive forward wider culture initiatives that continually develop insight and positively impact the service offered.

About You

We are looking for a seasoned HR professional with a strong understanding of HR best practice and applying employment law principles. You will have a track-record as an HR advisor or Business Partner in a professional environment and be able to build strong relationships, providing professional HR guidance and insight on all people and culture matters.

Requirements:

  • Be able to develop L&D concepts, plans, and initiatives with a vision of continuous professional development.
  • Engage with professionals, many who are subject matter experts, across a wide range of people and culture topics.
  • Be part of working in an inclusive culture and being an ambassador for our organization.

About Oia

Oia's vision is that students are always treated fairly. We resolve complaints from students, share learning from complaints to help improve policies and practices, and work with other organizations in the higher education sector and beyond.
