About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lift Engineer to join our team at Interaction - Northampton. As a Lift Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, fault-finding, and repairing a range of vertical access equipment, including hoists, lifts, and rack & pinion systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and service vertical access equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Conduct fault-finding and repair work on a variety of equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems
  • Inspect and commission on-site machinery and systems, ensuring compliance with electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repair procedures
  • Represent the organization in a professional and well-presented manner, including maintaining a tidy vehicle and adhering to driving behavior standards
  • Follow client processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Keep line management informed of workload and progress
Requirements
  • Electrically and mechanically competent, with a good working knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, converters, sensors, and control panels
  • Qualifications relevant to electrical/mechanical engineering, such as NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, or HND in Electrical, Mechanical, or Traction, Hydraulic Systems, or Industrial Lifting Equipment
  • Full UK driving license and valid passport
  • Previous experience working as a Lift Engineer, Traction Engineer, Electrical or Mechanical Engineer, Offshore Engineer, or Qualified Electrician
