Trainee Installation Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and mechanically-minded individual to join our team as a Trainee Installation Engineer. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for supporting the installation of industrial bespoke extraction systems across various industries nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with the installation of extraction systems on customer premises.
  2. Regularly operate scissor lifts and cherry pickers.
  3. Maintain stocks of standard parts and spare parts on service vehicles.
  4. Ensure all tools and equipment used are in good working order.

Requirements:

  1. Mechanical background through employment or education.
  2. Knowledge of LEV systems and mechanical experience would be advantageous.
  3. IPAF, FLT, PASMA, CSCS qualifications would be beneficial.
  4. Full UK driving license would be advantageous but not mandatory.
  5. Experience in the industry is not essential as full training will be provided.
  6. Excellent time-keeping and verbal communication skills.
  7. Ability to work at heights.
  8. Capacity to listen and act on instruction.

Benefits:

  1. Competitive salary of £24,000-£28,000 DOE.
  2. Permanent, full-time position.
  3. Monday to Thursday 08.00-17.00 and Friday 08.00-15.00.
