Fire Door Carpenter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fire Door Carpenter to join our team at Westwood Recruitment Solutions Ltd. The ideal candidate will have expertise in carpentry, with a focus on the installation, repair, and maintenance of fire-rated doors.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Install fire-rated doors in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct inspections and assessments of existing fire doors for compliance and functionality.
  • Repair and refurbish fire doors as needed to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with project managers and contractors to coordinate installation schedules and timelines.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to minimize risks and hazards on job sites.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used and hours worked.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a carpenter, with a focus on fire door installation and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations related to fire safety.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
