Fire Door Carpenter Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Fire Door Carpenter to join our team at Howells Recruitment. As a leading passive fire protection specialist, we provide comprehensive services to public and private sector organisations across the UK.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position with potential opportunities for career progression. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing fire door installations and maintenance, ensuring quality and standards of work are high, and meeting health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain fire doors to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Use appropriate materials, tools, and resources to complete tasks
  • Ensure high-quality work and adherence to best practice standards
  • Meet health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
  • Undertake necessary training to develop skills and knowledge
  • Use company App to evidence work completed

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry
  • NVQ in passive fire protection (preferred)
  • Hold a valid CSCS card
  • Be Asbestos-aware and preferably first aid trained
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Willingness to undertake a DBS check if required
  • FIRAS certification (preferred)
