Business Development Manager Opportunity

Freight Personnel, a leading global Freight Forwarding business, is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join their well-established Road Freight division. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding the company's business in the North East of England and Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquire new business through consistent outdoor presence, structured and targeted appointments, and follow-up activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
  • Provide market insights and competitor analysis to inform business development decisions.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of business development and sales success in a similar industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
