We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Community Pharmacy Specialist to join our dedicated team within the mental health services sector. This role is designed for an individual eager to collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, contributing to a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering comprehensive care.
The successful candidate will engage closely with the clinical team, including a Clinical Pharmacist, to meet the pharmaceutical needs of patients and service users. This position requires effective communication with patients, caregivers, primary care providers, and various healthcare services.
Ensuring safe and efficient medication management is a critical aspect of this role. Responsibilities will include adherence to regulatory standards and the implementation of safety protocols related to medication. As a vital member of the pharmacy team, you will have the chance to participate in broader organizational initiatives and priorities. Flexibility to travel between different service locations may be necessary.
Key Responsibilities
We seek a motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong communication skills and the ability to manage their workload effectively. You will deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care as part of a collaborative team. The implementation of Clozapine One-Stop clinics will be a significant part of your responsibilities, and your input will be essential in shaping this service.
Your experience within the inpatient unit will foster your professional growth, particularly beneficial for those with a background in mental health.
This position does not require weekend or bank holiday work. We offer flexible working arrangements and are committed to enhancing the work-life balance of our employees.
