Strong organizational abilities and exceptional customer service skills are crucial, along with a solid grasp of engineering drawings, materials, and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to thoroughly understand their needs and specifications
- Determine both preliminary and detailed design/project requirements and solutions
- Generate accurate manufacturing cost estimates and bills of materials
- Prepare competitive tenders
- Ensure client approval of drawings and implement necessary modifications
- Document and report any discrepancies from the original bill of materials
- Adhere to strict deadlines and project timelines
- Guarantee design compliance with all relevant legal regulations, industry standards, and client specifications
- Create action logs to facilitate corrective actions and root cause analysis
Candidate Profile:
- Background in mechanical, structural, or manufacturing fields
- Prior experience in estimating roles
- Familiarity with CRM and MRP systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent listening and presentation abilities
- Capability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and utilize time efficiently
- Proficient in MS Office applications
