Position Overview

As a Mandarin Speaking Accountant at ELP Consult Ltd., you will play a vital role in managing a diverse array of financial accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all operations.

Key Responsibilities

Your main duties will include:

  • Daily operation of core accounting systems, including the input of financial entries and necessary operational tasks.
  • Preparation and submission of regular reports to both Head Office and local regulatory bodies, ensuring timely and precise delivery.
  • Development of daily management information reports, monitoring key performance indicators, and assisting in the compilation of data for audits and tax-related inquiries.
  • Management of expenses, suspense accounts, and cash flow, while maintaining comprehensive financial statistics.
  • Reconciliation of Nostro, Vostro, and security custodian accounts.
  • Support in the management of fixed assets and participation in various departmental projects as directed by the Head of Department.
  • Ensuring that all transaction records and data are organized and filed accurately and promptly.
  • Completion of additional tasks as assigned by your line manager.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • ACCA or ACA qualification (or part-qualified) is preferred.
Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience within a banking environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
