Position Overview

Security Systems Engineer

About the Role

As a result of significant growth, our client is looking for a Security Systems Engineer to become part of their dynamic team.

This role offers a fantastic chance for individuals looking to advance their careers, as the company promotes from within, while providing support and execution of high-quality commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Fire and Security sector.
  • Possession of a valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Familiarity with current British standards related to fire and security systems.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive remuneration, including:

  • Overtime opportunities paid at Time and a Half.
  • Standby allowance.
  • Paid travel time, with a deduction of half an hour each way.
  • Minimal office presence required.
  • Company vehicle provided for work-related travel.
  • 20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, with an additional week of holiday for every five years of service.
On-Call Duties

The on-call schedule operates from Saturday at 9 AM to the following Monday at 9 AM, during which the engineer will not be required to attend jobs or the office. Should the engineer wish to earn additional income, they can request to be assigned day jobs during their on-call week, receiving compensation for that day in addition to their regular wages.
