About the Role:

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer - Equipment Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance on production and auxiliary equipment, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and executing repairs and modifications to improve equipment reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of production and auxiliary equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  2. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues promptly and accurately to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  3. Execute repairs and modifications to improve equipment reliability and performance, and collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
  4. Maintain accurate maintenance records and update documentation as required to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  2. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including technical drawings and manuals.
  3. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and communicate effectively with the production team.
  4. Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical / Mechanical or equivalent.
