Job Title: Mobile Cleaning Operative

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Cleaner to join our team at Nexgen Group, an award-winning provider of professional Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance services. As a Mobile Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various sites in Essex, including Harlow and Basildon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, handrails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames
  • Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops
  • Mopping floors with wet or damp mops
  • Hoovering of carpeted areas
  • Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
  • Mixing cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use
  • Replenishing consumable items, such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels
  • Cleaning kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks
Requirements:
  • Prior professional cleaning experience is essential
  • Prior experience in hard floor cleaning is an advantage
  • A Clean Full UK Manual Driving Licence is required, but a Company Vehicle is provided
  • IT literacy, including the use of tablets and smartphone apps
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English)

Nexgen Group values its employees and has achieved the 'Investors in People - Gold Standard' award. We offer a competitive hourly rate of £14 and a 20-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
