Residential Childcare Support Worker

Leaving Care Solutions (LCS) is seeking dedicated and passionate Residential Childcare Support Workers to join our team. Our mission is to have a positive and enduring impact on young individuals who have been in care and are transitioning to independence. We offer accommodation/housing and aid these young people in achieving independent living and educational milestones.
As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will provide a responsive and tailored service to young residents in their individual flats or shared houses. The individuals supported by LCS are vulnerable, and it is crucial to maintain a safe and welcoming environment in the home.
Your Responsibilities:- Implement individualized support plans and provide detailed handovers
- Monitor behavior changes and address support needs
- Build positive relationships with residents and team members
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents
- Conduct necessary health and safety tasks
- Collaborate with external agencies when needed
- Assist residents with external appointments
- Experience working with vulnerable youth
- Flexibility to work weekends
- Relevant qualifications in Health & Social Care or willingness to obtain them
- Access to a vehicle and willingness to travel
- Strong computer skills
- Resilient with the ability to handle challenging behaviors
