About the Role

As a Senior Specialist, People Partner at McLaren Racing, you will play a critical role in supporting the high-performance journey of our team. You will provide exceptional HR service across the F1 function, helping to deliver a progressive people agenda and develop HR solutions to ensure a great employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication
    • Influence key stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for new ways of working and key projects.
    • Understand the needs of your leaders and their teams, adapting an agile approach to deliver advice, initiatives, and projects.
  • Operational HR Support
    • Act as the escalation point for employee relations matters, providing oversight of complex cases.
    • Advise managers on recruitment policy, process, and interviews/selection.
    • Ensure strong employee relations through engagement of managers and team leaders.
    • Lead discussions on talent and succession management processes within departments.
    • Support early careers programs and campaigns for Graduates, Apprenticeships, Internships, and Work Experience.
    • Support the rollout of learning and development needs and solutions.
    • Lead areas of the annual reward process (salary review, bonus, and benefits).
    • Utilize HRIS data to support people strategy and assist managers with data-driven decision-making.
    • Proactive management of HRIS data for accuracy and compliance, working closely with Finance.
    • Collaborate to update and enhance people policies across functions.
    Requirements
    • Previous demonstrable HR experience, including strong employee relations knowledge and case management skills.
    • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management.
    • A focus on data-driven decision-making.
    • Experience of managing complex change and project delivery.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with an agile approach.
    • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
